Information We Collect and How We Use it

We collect and store information that Users enter on or otherwise provide to us through this App, in an effort to improve their experiences on this App and to communicate with them about any services we offer on or through this App (collectively, “Services”). In order to access certain features and functionality provided through the Services, we may require you to register and/or create an account with us. If you choose to do so, we may collect certain personally identifiable information from you including without limitation, your first and last name, mailing address, email address, telephone number and date of birth. (For purposes of this Privacy Policy, such personally identifiable information is sometimes referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”). We may also request credit card or other payment account information for transactions as part of the Services, but we do not store or maintain your credit card information on our servers. Since we rely upon one or more third party credit card processors to process credit card payments for transactions effected through this App, and do not store credit card information on our servers, Travler is not responsible for data breaches suffered or incurred by any such third party credit card processors. In addition, we reserve the right to audit your eligibility or to audit User accounts at any time for possible fraudulent activity.

b. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Anonymous information that does not reveal PII about any particular Users is sometimes referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Non-Personally Identifiable Information” or “Non-PII”. This type of information may include the URL of the websites you visited immediately before linking to this Website, the URL of the websites you visit immediately upon leaving this Website, the type of browser or mobile device you are using to access the Services, your IP address, language, unique device identifier, approximate geographic location, and time zone. We and our Third Party Providers may automatically collect this information when you access and use this App and/or Services through the use of electronic tools like cookies and web beacons or pixel tags or location based capabilities on the particular device you’re using to do so. PII that you provide to Travler may be sent to Third Party Providers and/or their websites (“Third Party Websites”) to facilitate the delivery of Services. Any User Information that we may receive from Third Party Websites will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, information which you provide to them directly through their Third Party Websites will be subject to their privacy policies.

Other Sharing of User Information

In addition to the circumstances described above, Travler may also share, release and/or disclose PII and Non-PII (sometimes collectively referred to hereafter as “User Information”) to third parties in the following circumstances:

Some of our Third Party Providers perform back-office functions for us, such as processing ticketing or booking requests, sending out and distributing our administrative and promotional emails. We may share your User Information with such Third Party Providers to remove repetitive information on customer lists, analyze data, provide marketing assistance, provide search results and links, process credit card payments, operate the app, troubleshoot, and provide customer service. We also use Third Party Providers to track and analyze Non-PII usage and volume statistical information from Users to administer the Services and constantly improve its quality.

User Choices on Collection and Use of Information

You can always choose not to provide User Information, but if you do so, you may not be able to use all or certain parts of the Services offered through this App. If you register for an account or otherwise submit User Information through the Services, we will send you administrative email messages. We may also send you Administrative Emails and Promotional Emails regarding your account activity and transactions with us, as well as updates about the Services “Administrative Emails” relate to a User’s interactions with the Services, and include emails regarding particular question, issues, concerns or other matters relating to your account. You cannot opt-out of Administrative Emails without cancelling your account. “Promotional Emails” are electronic messages advertising this App and/or Services, as well as sales and offers of related products and services by Third Party Websites or Third Party Providers. If you do not want to receive Promotional Emails from us, you may elect to opt-out of receiving Promotional Emails at any time after registering by writing to us at the address contained herein, or by hitting the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any of emails you may receive from Travler.

Protection of User Information

We take various security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store User Information. We restrict access to PII to Travler employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination, if they fail to meet these obligations. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we employ commercially reasonable security measures to protect data and seek to partner with service providers which do the same, we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from any of this App, online tools or mobile applications, and are not responsible for the unlawful conduct, or actions, of any third parties that may unlawfully gain or receive access to any such information. Account Information and other password-protected areas of this App can be accessed only with a valid user name and password. Each password owner is responsible for keeping the password confidential and safe, as Travler has no control or responsibility for this type of User Information.
